Amir Hefni is Chief Executive Officer of Resolution Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing regenerative macrophage therapy for inflammatory and fibrotic diseases. Since joining in August 2023, he has led the company's lead asset into the clinic through the Phase I/II EMERALD study in the UK and Spain, now fully enrolled, established a pipeline strategy spanning multiple therapeutic modalities, and raised over $80 million in Series B financing. Before Resolution, Amir was Global Head of Cell and Gene Therapy at Novartis, with end-to-end responsibility for the platform. He previously served as Global Asset Head in Oncology at Ipsen and spent much of his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in senior roles across U.S. Oncology, General Management, and Strategy & Operations in key markets. Amir holds a BSc and PhD in Pharmacology from King's College London and an MBA from Warwick Business School.
