Dr. Haider Warraich a Program Manager at ARPA-H, where he is leading the ADVOCATE program which is pioneering the development, evaluation, regulation and implementation of patient-facing, autonomous, clinical agentic AI. In addition, he is a cardiologist specializing in heart failure and transplantation practicing at Boston Medical Center, a researcher with more than 185 peer-reviewed research publications, and the writer of three internationally best-selling books. Before this role, he served at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a Senior Clinical Advisor for Chronic Disease to the FDA Commissioner where he helped shape policy around drugs, devices, digital health and AI. Previously, Warraich was Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Director of the Heart Failure Program at the Veterans Affairs Health System in Boston.
